Do small steps yield significant results?

We’ve heard this adage before. But is it true?

In a nutshell, the answer is yes!  Put another way, if you take at least a 20% step towards a planned personal action, you will see a benefit, perhaps as much as 80%, towards what you anticipated this action adding to your balanced lifestyle.

A famous quote, attributed to Woody Allen, states “80% of success in life is simply showing up.” How true!

Too often, we donʼt want to take any steps unless we can enact a grand scheme to radically change a habit. We believe that even making small changes wonʼt amount to anything. But this simply isnʼt true. Not only do small steps create large benefits on their own, in most cases you are formulating good habits. And a good habit is one that is easy upon which to build.
