Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope this finds you all very well and enjoying a laugh over the title of this newsletter. I know I did. Trust me, it would have gotten my attention too if it wasn’t my newsletter.

While everyone else is talking about gratitude, I chose to talk about something else. Being grateful is something we should all engage in each and every day, not just Thanksgiving.

After all, the Universe loves a grateful heart and a good laugh!

Happy Valentines Day! Welcome to this month’s ANNabolic Times!

As Valentine’s Day approaches, you may be thinking about the state of relationships in your life. Relationships are the cornerstone of an extraordinary life. How are yours?

The most important relationship you have is the one that you have with—you guessed it—you. If you had to describe your treatment of yourself, how would you describe it? Often times, if we treated our friends the way we treat ourselves, we wouldn’t have any. Are you treating yourself like a best friend or something else?

Maya Angelou said: “I’ve learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel.” How are you making yourself feel?

Annabolic Times-December, 2011 The Techie vs The Social Butterfly

Season’s Greetings,

I hope this finds all of you very well and enjoying the holiday season.

Back up to September, 2011 when I took the Genos Emotional Intelligence assessment. I needed to take a 360 (I was rating myself and others were rating me) assessment as preparation for the Genos workshop that I was attending. To my surprise, my lowest score was in the skill of emotional self-awareness. While my score was still way above the norm, this was a surprise to me. I’m a coach for goodness sakes.
