A solid self-care foundation is paramount to making any sort of personal progress. How can you put yourself in the top 2%? How do you enjoy your life journey and bring your best to the word? I believe it is by practicing excellent self-care.

Excellent self-care means treating yourself as you would your best friend. It means making choices and decisions that honor your soul in everyday life as well as valuing yourself enough to choose to create your life, rather than be victimized by it.

When we care deeply for ourselves, we naturally begin to care for others — our families, our friends, and our greater global community — in a healthier and more effective way. We tell the truth. We make choices from love instead of guilt and obligation. We begin to recognize that we are all connected and that our individual actions affect a greater whole.

Establishing and following a solid self-care routine is one of the best things that you can to secure your physical and mental health and it can be done for little or no cost!

The definition of self-care varies from person to person.  In general, it’s about taking care of yourself mentally, physically and spiritually.

Here are some ways to take care of yourself in a divine way:

  • Invoke the power of NO to things that do not lead you towards your goals.
  • Live and work in a soul-nurturing     environment;
  • surround yourself with beauty;
  • spend time in nature;
  • Perform work that gives you a chance to fully express your creativity and talent;
  • Feed yourself healthy food;
  • Engage in daily exercise;
  • Meditate on a regular basis.  Balance silence with activity;
  • Get and keep your financial house in order;
  • Dress in a way that makes you confident and comfortable;
  • Engage in regular spa visits;

A solid self-care program also means engaging in a routine of nurturing and surrounding yourself with supportive, like-minded, and high-energy people who are committed to improving the quality of their lives as well.
