Santa retired and moved to Florida
He tired of the cold, snow and ice
And even though he came as a foreigner
He longed to live his days in paradise
But the HOA did not approve of his reindeer, ’cause their hooves tore up the number 8 tee, repeatedly
And all those tiny elves looked like children themselves which aren’t allowed in a senior community
(Santa says): Merry Christmas to one and to all
I’m staying home with the Misses we’re decking our own hall
Time to have a great New Year but you won’t be seeing me
I sold my sleigh to a museum in Tennessee
Santa kicked back and closed his workshop
He was tired and did not want to carry on
And his once a year overnight delivery package drop Could not compete with prime from Amazon
But he was banned from the pool “cause he broke several rules As he laughed too loudly from them all
And the money got dear as the holidays drew near so he had to get a job at the local mall (Still he says) . . .
